It's beginning to look a lot like 2014-15 in the Western Conference, at least when it comes to the combined excellence of Stephen Curry and James Harden.
First and second in MVP voting last season, both players put up MVP-type performances Friday night.
MORE: Biggest disappointments so far of the NBA season
Curry scored 33 points on 12-of-21 shooting, including an 8-for-15 performance from the 3-point line, to go along with 10 assists and seven rebounds as the Warriors routed the Nuggets 119-104. Curry has played at a high level all season, averaging 35.8 points and shooting a ridiculous 57.4 percent from the field.
Harden hasn't been as consistent to open the season but he's been on fire of late, scoring more than 28 points in each of his past three outings. Friday night he torched the Kings for 43 points and 13 assists as the Rockets won 116-107.
Tweet of The Night
Stephen Curry feeds off pressure, and everyone knows it.
When Curry is crazy wide open, a teammate should run at him. Make him feel more comfortable

Stud of the night
Anthony Davis rebounded from a poor game against the Magic (14 points, 9 rebounds) in a big way Friday night. Davis played like the MVP candidate he was predicted to be this year with 43 points on 14-of-23 shooting to go along with 10 rebounds, four blocks and three steals in the Pelicans' 121-115 loss to the Hawks.
Dud of the night
It was an ugly night for the Raptors and prized free agent DeMarre Carroll. Toronto shot just 34.9 percent from the field as a team and Carroll was part of the problem, connecting on just 3 of 13 field goal attempts and going 1 for 5 from the 3-point line as the Raptors fell 92-87 to the Magic.
