Dwyane Wade opens up about how Lebron James joining the Miami Heat shouldn't have happened image

During an interview about the formation of the Miami Heat’s Big 3 with 7PM in Brooklyn, Dwyane Wade spoke on how playing with LeBron James was like, and the consequences of what they did. Together, during LeBron’s time with the Heat, he won two MVPs, the Heat won back to back championships, and were in the NBA Finals all four years. Wade was a champion before that, and LeBron was an MVP before he joined. However, even with all this success, Wade believed it shouldn’t have happened.

Wade recalled that playing with LeBron was hard, because you had to play around him. It affected his state of mind and how he viewed himself, because he thought he was the guy, the first option. After LeBron joined, he had to accept his role as the sidekick on the team he built.

Wade said he regretted allowing the team to form, as it led to other teams forming super teams, making the league suffer for a decade before the new salary cap rules basically abolished super teams.
