There was an adjustment period for Dwyane Wade when Chris Bosh and LeBron James came to Miami to play with him in the aptly named Big Three.

Now, with James gone, Wade and Bosh must get acclimated to life without the NBA's best player. For Wade, that will mean he can no longer operate under the umbrella of James' durability. He'll need to be more present than he has in the past, and he will receive more attention from defenses than he has over the last few years.

“I’m still finding my way with this team and this offense,” Wade told the South Florida Sun-Sentinel. “So I’m still trying to see where I fit in. I know I can get a shot any time I want, but it’s about the quality of it more so than anything. I’m just playing the game and just seeing.”

There is no actual mention of James in the quote, but this team, one without James, has a much different makeup. Bosh will be the feature player, while Wade, Luol Deng and Josh McRoberts will play complementary roles.

As for Wade being able to get a shot whenever he wants, we'll have to wait to see if that's still true or not.
