Dwight Howard is a future Hall of Famer. (There is no debate here, so don't try to come up with a rebuttal.) He is also an easy target for jokes.
The new Wizards center recently appeared on MTV's "Wild 'N Out" and was thoroughly roasted in the "WildStyle" round. Shaquille O'Neal found the video clip and shared it with a simple caption: "Dam lol."
Howard decided to jump into the comment section of the Instagram post and challenge Shaq to a "roast battle." That... didn't end well.

Is there a real feud going on here between Howard and O'Neal? Not really.
Addressing the media Monday afternoon, Howard explained it's all about firing off jokes in good fun.
"I guess [O'Neal] has some things he wants to get off his chest about me," Howard said. "But I don't have any issues, no personal issues with him. But if you do want to get into a roast, I can roast with the best of them. I'm ready."

"It's all love. I don't have anything against him," Howard continued. "He came before me. He's a pioneer in the game for myself and a lot of the guys who play my position. But I'm not gonna be quiet."
Fair enough. But Howard (and Charles Barkley) should realize by now that Shaq is always going to point at rings because he "only battles champions."
