The forward said he has a "strong belief" Golden State would have clinched the series if he had played Monday night. Instead, the Cavaliers cut the Warriors' edge to 3-2 with a 112-97 victory.

"I let my teammates down," Green said Wednesday, via Sports Illustrated. "We lost Game 5, we're here for Game 6. I have to be better for my teammates.

"Me not being on the court to battle with my guys is being a bad teammate. I take pride in being a good teammate."

Green was suspended for the game after he kicked LeBron James in the groin during Game 4, drawing a flagrant 1 foul. Green already had three flagrant fouls during the postseason, which meant the fourth flagrant was a mandatory one-game suspension.

The Warriors can wrap up their second consecutive title with a win Thursday night in Cleveland.
