Basketball gods smiled upon Draymond Green as he sidestepped a suspension for kicking Steven Adams in the groin Sunday, but that doesn’t mean he’s going to change the way he plays.
Emboldened by the NBA's leniency, the Warriors forward said Tuesday he doesn’t plan on being more careful in Game 4 against the Thunder, even though another technical foul would result in an automatic one-game ban.

“I’m never going to be careful," he told reporters, via the San Jose Mercury News. "I’m just going to be me and the game will play out the way it will play out."
There was much speculation Monday as to whether Green would be suspended for what he claims was an accident regarding Adams when he was assessed a Flagrant 1 foul for the kick.

The NBA declined to suspend Green, but he was fined and the play was upgraded to a Flagrant 2 foul. He has three flagrant points this postseason, meaning he's dangerously close to a suspension anyway, but Green isn’t worried about possibly being baited by his opponents in Game 4.
“They try to bait me every night. Not anybody else can control what I do," Green said, "so it doesn’t matter."
