Following Rudy Gobert's positive test for the coronavirus (COVID-19), all Jazz players were quarantined and tested Wednesday night in Oklahoma City.

Only one other Jazz player has reportedly tested positive: All-Star guard Donovan Mitchell.

"As a follow-up to yesterday's positive COVID-19 test, Oklahoma health officials tested all members of the Utah Jazz traveling party, confirming one additional positive outcome for a Jazz player," a team statement released Thursday said. "We are working closely with the CDC, Oklahoma and Utah State officials, and the NBA to monitor their health and determine the best path moving forward."

Mitchell confirmed his test results with a post on Instagram.

"Thanks to everyone who has been reaching out since hearing the news about my positive test," Mitchell wrote. "We are all learning more about the seriousness of this situation and hopefully people can continue to educate themselves and realize that they need to behave responsibly both for their own health and for the well being of those around them.

"I appreciate the authorities in Oklahoma who were helpful with the testing process and everyone from the @utahjazz who have been so supportive. I am going to keep following the advice of our medical staff and hope that we can all come together and be there for each other and our neighbors who need our help."

The NBA announced Wednesday it would suspend the season indefinitely after Gobert's diagnosis. The league postponed the scheduled Jazz-Thunder game in Oklahoma City as well as the Pelicans-Kings game set to be played in Sacramento.

Gobert faced criticism prior to the positive test for jokingly touching the recorders and microphones of reporters days earlier. The Utah Department of Health determined the incident to be a "low risk exposure," adding that only individuals who had close contact with Gobert are considered to be "at risk for developing symptoms of COVID-19."

The 27-year-old center felt "strong and stable" and was prepared to play against the Thunder had his test come back negative, according to The Athletic's Tony Jones and Shams Charania. In a separate statement, the Jazz said the infected player (they didn't identify the player as Gobert) is "currently in the care of health officials in Oklahoma City."

ESPN's Royce Young reported early Thursday that Jazz players were still at their hotel and could have two charter planes ready to travel back to Utah, one for players with positive tests and one for players with negative tests.
