Former Clippers owner Donald Sterling dropped his invasion of privacy lawsuit against V. Stiviano, the New York Post reported.
Stiviano made audio recordings of Sterling making racist remarks. The NBA subsequently banned Sterling for life, forcing the billionaire to give up control of the franchise to his estranged wife. Shelly Sterling ultimately sold the Clippers to Steve Ballmer for $2 billion.

The reason for Sterling's decision to drop the case was not reported.
In Stiviano's recordings, Sterling is heard making comments about her bringing "black men" to Clippers game, specifically mentioning former NBA player Magic Johnson.
Stiviano claimed Sterling gave consent to being taped in the phone conversations.
Sterling is also suing his wife and two NBA doctors who deemed him unfit to own and conduct the business affairs of the Clippers. That case is still pending.
