Domantas Sabonis black eye: Kings star suffers injury after taking elbow to face in Game 6 image

Domantas Sabonis suffered a nasty eye injury during Game 6 against the Warriors.

The Kings center was contesting a jump ball midway through the second quarter when he took an elbow to the face from Golden State's Kevon Looney. He immediately dropped down to the floor clutching his face and was quickly attended to by the Kings' medical staff.

Here's a clip of the injury:

The area around his eye was visibly bloodied and swollen shortly after the incident.

He went to the bench to receive treatment, but he was able to tough it out and stay in the game. No foul was called on Looney for the elbow.

Sabonis finished the game with just seven points on 3 of 12 shooting from the field, but he did rack up 11 rebounds as the Kings secured a 118-99 victory to force a Game 7. That game will take place this Sunday in Sacramento with tip-off scheduled for 3:30 p.m. ET.
