A person who sounded a lot like Kyrie Irving called into Boston's "Zolak and Bertrand" radio show this week to defend the Celtics star amid reports he has not been in communication with the team as free agency approaches.

The show hosts are convinced "Mike in Waltham" is really Irving. Listen to the call and decide for yourself:

This isn't the first time a sports star has been accused of calling into a radio show pretending to be someone else.

In 2016, a Patriots fan named Matt called into Boston's "Toucher and Rich" radio — and there was a lot of speculation that it was Tom Brady.
