Derrick Rose has wowed basketball fans in his brief stint with Team USA in the run up to the FIBA Basketball World Cup.
But while he appears spry on the basketball court, Rose is coming back off two major injuries. A reminder that Rose is still early in the process came on Monday, when he was kept out of practice for precautionary reasons.

Rose, whose coach, Tom Thibodeau, is notorious for playing his stars for long stretches, talked about the decision to sit out as his teammates practiced at West Point.
"I feel great, actually," Rose said. "My body is good. I'm not aching, so that's a good sign. I'm just trying to take it day by day.
"Today, I'm not practicing because I'm just getting a little bit of rest, just getting my legs under me. Today is more like a rest day, so I want to thank the staff for that."
