It's only been a few months since Derrick Rose left the Windy City for the Big Apple, but he's not looking backward.
The Knicks guard says he hasn't given much thought to facing his old team, and probably won't until the two teams meet up in Chicago Friday night.
“I haven’t been thinking about it, man,’’ Rose told the New York Post . “Only when probably it’s game day, I’ll think about it. There’s no bad blood there either. I understand this is a business. They made a business decision. On my end, I just got to stay prepared.”
Rose has averaged 15 points and two assists through two games in 2016-17, matchups against the Cavaliers and Grizzlies. The former top pick who spent nearly a decade playing for his hometown Bulls said, as far as he's concerned, it's another game on the schedule, even though he'll have a big audience of family and friends.

“Friends and family are going to come,’’ Rose said. “They’re going to support. It’s just going to be a regular game for me. People are making it a big thing because of the trade and me being from there and being traded here. I can’t think that far down the line because we have this back-to-back.’’
