Deron Williams saved the night for the Mavericks not once, but twice on Tuesday.
Williams scored 25 points and hit the game-winning 3-point shot as time expired as Dallas outlasted the Kings 117-116 in double overtime.

The three-time All-Star hit a big bucket late in regulation to give the Mavs a 98-96 lead, before DeMarcus Cousins scored to force overtime.

The Mavs trailed by as many as seven points in the fourth quarter before clawing their way back.
“You've got to believe, and you just got to keep going,” Mavs coach Rick Carlisle said. “It was a wacky game with a lot of swings back and forth."
