Former NBA player Dennis Rodman is a “person of interest” in a hit-and-run accident early Wednesday on the I-5 interstate in Santa Ana, Calif., according to the California Highway Patrol.
When officers arrived on the scene of the accident after midnight Tuesday, the driver of a black BMW sedan told them he recognized Rodman as the person driving the other vehicle involved in the crash.

"Based on the driver's statement, we have to investigate," police spokesman Florentino Olivera said, per NBC affiliate in Los Angeles.
No serious injuries occurred during the accident, but a passenger in the BMW complained of pain, according to the Orange County Register.
