DeMarcus Cousins said he made the "smartest move ever" when he signed with the Warriors in free agency, but plenty of fans weren't on board with his decision.

During Sunday night's game between the Warriors and Nuggets, one angry Cavs fan — what is this guy doing in Denver? — screamed his disapproval at Cousins, who was not in uniform as he continues to rehab from a torn Achilles he suffered in January. All "Boogie" could do was look and laugh.

"You ruined the NBA! It's real funny!"

Well, that reaction is kind of funny, but Cousins didn't ruin the NBA.

Buddy, he's not even playing yet, and he might not be back on the floor until the calendar flips to 2019. Sure, Cousins choosing to join Golden State looks bad from an optics standpoint, but it remains to be seen how much he will actually change the Warriors' game plan. They could easily win another championship without him.

If nothing else, the Nuggets defeated the Warriors at Pepsi Center, preventing Steve Kerr's squad from finishing 82-0 this season. This guy should be happy.

Pop some champagne! Buy an updated Cavs jersey! Watch Timofey Mozgov highlights! As Nancy Carlson once wrote, there's a big, beautiful world out there!
