If anyone in the NBA is a fiery competitor in this era of pitty-pat buddy ball, it's DeMarcus Cousins.
Give or take a Russell Westbrook, Cousins, a 6-11, 280-pound bruiser of a center might be the fiercest. Above all, he wants to win and he's willing to do anything and everything short of coming to blows in order to gain an advantage. It's part of the reason he leads the league in technical fouls.
Sunday, after being heckled mercilessly by a Lakers fan on the road in Los Angeles, Cousins gave the spectator an expletive-laden piece of his mind as he walked to the Pelicans' bench.
It wasn't pretty at all.
