NEW YORK — The Sacramento Kings have yet another coach, with George Karl coming into the fold to finish out the year. Previously, they fired Mike Malone and installed Tyrone Corbin as interim coach. That only lasted until the All-Star break, however.
Before the final decision was made, reports surfaced with information about the team's plan to consult star center DeMarcus Cousins during the process. Cousins was dismayed earlier this year when he learned about the firing of Malone, with whom he'd built a strong rapport.

This news brought about comments from TNT analyst Charles Barkley. The two have had words in the past, and Barkley called it "total bull—" that Cousins was included.
Cousins was asked about Barkley's words, and responded with a response that fits the relationship — or lack thereof — the two have built.
"I don't respect him and I don't really care what he has to say," Cousins said.
Well, chances are those won't be the last words shared between the two. Stay tuned.
