The Spurs' starting lineup will look drastically different to start the season without Tim Duncan and the addition of Pau Gasol but it will also be without shooting guard Danny Green.
Green was diagnosed with a left quad strain and is expected to be out approximately three weeks, the team announced Friday. Green has been held out of preseason action since October 14 but re-aggravated the injury during Tuesday's scrimmage.

"It obviously sucks not to be able to have opening night with these guys, but it's good to get little injuries out of the way," Green said, via San Antonio Express-News. "I'm going to take it day by day, week by week and hopefully come back early...You've got to stay positive."
Green played 26.1 minutes per game last season, averaging 7.2 points, 3.8 rebounds and 1.8 assists. Kyle Anderson will likely see starter minutes in Green's absence with Manu Ginobili chipping in at age 39.
