Dallas Mavericks guard Raymond Felton will be missing more than just the first four games of the 2014-15 season.
Felton, who was already going to be suspended four games after beng arrested on and pleading guilty to gun charges in the offseason, will now miss multiple weeks for a high ankle sprain suffered in a Friday exhibition game against Oklahoma City.
Felton left American Airlines Arena with the aid of crutches while wearing a protective boot on his right foot.
Felton averaged 9.7 points, three rebounds and 5.6 assists in the 2013-14 season
The 10-year veteran is in his first season in Dallas after spending his last two seasons in New York, where the arrest occured.
