Things are bad in Dallas.
The Mavericks have just two wins and are in the midst of their worst losing streak since Mark Cuban bought the team in 2000.

Despite the troubles with the current team, Cuban is still regretting what happened in 2004 with Steve Nash. Cuban wanted Nash to re-sign with the Mavs on a shorter deal and didn't match the Suns' six-year, $63 million offer despite Nash wanting to stay in Big D. Nash left Texas and went on to win MVP awards with the Suns in back-to-back seasons.
"We certainly didn’t see him as a two-time MVP. And it was the biggest mistake I made not re-signing him," Cuban said told Fort Worth Star-Telegram."We thought his body would break down and it certainly didn’t. So, bad advice, bad across the board."

This season, Cuban's Mavericks rank last in points per game, rebounds per game and assists per game as the signings of Harrison Barnes and Andrew Bogut haven't worked out. Hopefully Cuban isn't regretting those free-agent moves yet.
