Craig Sager gave an inspiring last interview before he died image

It's been clear since his death last week that Craig Sager continues to inspire.

That wasn't necessarily his goal, but he did wage his long and very public fight against leukemia not for himself but for others.

He said so in his final interview before his death at 65, more than two years after he was diagnosed.

“I'm fighting not only for myself and my family," Sager told CBS' Jim Axelrod, "but I am fighting for everybody who has cancer.”
