28 of the nation's best girls and boys high school basketball prospects are set to take part in the fifth annual Slam Summer Classic, a showcase event that will be played outdoors at Rucker Park in Harlem, N.Y.
Headlining this year's talented rosters are boys high school prospects Cooper Flagg, who recently made headlines by reclassifying to enroll in college in 2024, and AJ Dybantsa, who recently spoke at length on his eventful summer with The Sporting News' Kyle Irving.
The girls' game is headlined by a number of rising stars. Among them are a few names that may be familiar as there is a trio of girls whose fathers enjoyed All-Star careers in the NBA.

The Slam Summer Classic begins with the girls' game at 5 p.m. ET on Saturday, Aug. 19. The boys' game will follow shortly after, with a tentative start time of 7 p.m. ET.
Both games will be played at the historic Holcombe Rucker Park in Harlem, N.Y.

The list of 14 high school boys is led by Cooper Flagg, the consensus No. 1 overall recruit in the class of 2024, and AJ Dybantsa, who ESPN ranks first in the class of 2025.
The game also features Duke commit Isaiah Evans as well as Jase Richardson, son of two-time dunk champion Jason Richardson.

Jaloni Cambridge, who has transferred to Montverde Academy for her senior year, is the top-ranked recruit on the girls' side, according to ESPN's top 100. UConn commit Allie Ziebell and uncommitted wing Kennedy Smith are among the other top recruits that will play in the girls' game.

Izela Arenas' father is Gilbert Arenas, who earned three All-Star selections over the course of an 11-year NBA career.
Izela Arenas is a rising senior at Sierra Canyon High School in Chatsworth, Calif. and, per trainer Zach Becerra, has received scholarship offers from numerous Division 1 programs including Oregon, Louisville, and Mississippi State, among others.
At Sierra Canyon, Arenas plays alongside Mackenly Randolph, daughter of two-time NBA All-Star Zach Randolph. Mackenly Randolph is a top-20 recruit in the class of 2024 per ESPN and will choose between Duke, Louisville, Michigan State, Notre Dame and South Carolina.
