New Los Angeles Clippers owner Steve Ballmer made his money over a 34-year career with Microsoft.
Because of his allegiance to Microsoft, Ballmer doesn't even allow his family to use Apple products, as Slam.com noted. Ballmer plans to extend that philosophy to the Clippers, he said in an interview with Reuters.

"Most of the Clippers on are Windows, some of the players and coaches are not," Ballmer said.
"And Doc kind of knows that’s a project. It's one of the first things he said to me: 'We are probably going to get rid of these iPads, aren’t we?' And I said, 'Yeah, we probably are.' But I promised we would do it during the off season."
Microsoft isn't really at forefront of mobile, so it makes sense that the Clippers coaches and players used iPads and iPhones. Ballmer is aware that companies like Apple and Google stepped to the forefront of mobile, while Microsoft lagged behind.
"And do I wish a higher percentage of today's mobile devices were ours and we had birthed that category?," he mused. "Yes, of course I do."
