There's no question that the Suns have been the league's most dominant team throughout the 2021-22 NBA season, but they were dealt their first serious setback when All-Star guard Chris Paul suffered a right thumb avulsion fracture.

Phoenix, of course, is more than just Paul, but it will certainly feel the absence of one of the NBA's 75 greatest players on a nightly basis.

Is Chris Paul playing today?

On Sunday, Feb. 20, it was revealed that Paul will be re-evaluated in six to eight weeks, meaning he will not suit up against the Trail Blazers on Wednesday, March 2.

This season, Paul is averaging 14.9 points, a league-leading 10.7 assists, 4.9 rebounds and 1.9 steals over 58 games.
