Team CP3 survived and advanced in The Basketball Tournament on Friday, and if you're wondering about the name, yes, it is Chris Paul's team.
His squad walked off with a 79-76 victory over Tampa 20/20 in the first round of the Greensboro Regional. Former North Carolina standout P.J. Hairston nailed the game-winning 3.
Paul is coaching in the event, which awards $2 million to the winning squad. Here's visual evidence of his late-game instructions:

Paul's squad doesn't have much time to bask in the win. It will play Saturday in Round 2, and if it wins that game, it will play for the regional championship on Sunday.
