Chris Paul had a little karma coming his way after he tried to get into Stephen Curry's head and disrupt his preparation.
According to The Athletic, the night before Friday's Game 6 matchup between the Rockets and the Warriors, Curry decided to head to the Toyota Center in Houston and set up a shooting session to work on his shot.
Warriors team manager Eric Housen set up an hour block for Curry to be alone in the arena to work on basic fundamentals. Paul found out about the impromptu shooting session and decided to head to the Toyota Center to get his own shots in, effectively nulling Curry's practice.
Curry tried to make the situation work and offered to practice with a half court so Paul could have the other half, but Paul said no.
Ultimately, Curry had to leave the Toyota Center and did not get a practice session in.
However, Curry and the Warriors had the last laugh Friday night, when they ousted the Rockets from the playoffs by winning Game 6, 118-113.
While Curry had been in a postseason slump, the incident might have added fuel to the fire — he went from zero points at halftime to 33 by the end of the game. Sixteen of those points were scored in the last five minutes.
It appears there is truth to the report, since after the game Curry and teammate Draymond Green locked eyes heading off the court, prompting Curry to scream, "Kick me off the court again, boy!"
Green then responded, "Kick him off! Kick him off!"
The feeling around this Warriors team right now is almost like they just won a title. They were up against it, & they knew it. One of the best wins of their entire run. pic.twitter.com/z61lwq1BTB

Looks like Paul should be rethinking his petty tactics for next season.
