Heat forward Chris Bosh, who was hospitalized with blood clots on his lung just over a week ago, was released from the hospital Friday, according to the Associated Press' Tim Reynolds.

The Heat have already announced that Bosh will miss the remainder of this season, but it appears that he is making good progress.

According to Reynolds, who spoke with Heat coach Erik Spoelstra, Bosh was more than ready to get out of the hospital to continue his recovery.

Miami is 3-2 since it lost Bosh for the season after the All-Star break. With a 25-32 record, the Heat currently occupy the No. 7 seed in the Eastern Conference playoff picture.
