There were a lot of upset people following the Cavaliers' record-breaking performance Wednesday night.
The team chased after the 3-point record, and broke it, by making 25 threes in a single game. Hawks players complained to Cleveland.com by saying it was unprofessional to chase the record, and TNT analyst/former player Charles Barkley suggested Atlanta take someone out.

“You’re not trying to hurt them, but you’ve got to take somebody out,” Barkley said. “When a team is just embarrassing you, shooting threes when the game is way over just trying to set a record…if you keep shooting threes, I’ve got to take you down one time really hard.”
On a conference call Thursday, Cavs coach Tyronn Lue called out Barkley for his comments.
"I don't think there's any place in our game to take someone out if they're playing well," Lue said. "I think you can take it upon yourself to play harder and do things to stop it or stop a team from playing well. But when it gets into trying to hurt guys or trying to take guys out, that's just not right."
Lue continued on the call by saying the Cavs "didn't do anything malicious" because they took their starters out for the entire fourth quarter. The reserves felt like going after the record, and they had an entire quarter to do it, so they did.
As Dahntay Jones told Cleveland.com — he was open, so he hit shots.
"I guess it's a testament to, well, I don't know what it's a testament to. We were wide open. Really, I'm dead serious. I just sat in the corner. I sat there for two shots. We didn't even push the ball in transition. I really don't understand the logic but hey, it's just one game buddy."
