Celtics free agency rumors: Boston targeting Bucks' Malcolm Brogdon image

The Celtics could lose both Kyrie Irving and Terry Rozier in free agency this offseason so they have reportedly started to build a list of targets to go after if that happens.

"Chatter" is starting to build that Boston could potentially target Bucks guard Malcolm Brogdon in free agency, according to Yahoo Sports.

The team is also looking at another guard in Tomas Satoransky of the Wizards, according to the report.

Both players are restricted free agents, so their respective teams could match any offer the Celtics make, but considering Boston's situation at the point guard position, bigger deals could be in order for these players, especially for Brogdon, who is one of the most efficient players in the NBA and could be a great fit for Brad Stevens.

And if Boston offers a deal bigger than the one their respective teams can offer, it very well may land them.

Satoransky is a similar-type player who is more of a shooting guard but can run the offense if he needs to. He is also very efficient, finishing the year shooting 48.5 percent from the field, 39.5 percent from 3-point range and 81.9 percent from the free-throw line.

Boston is reportedly also looking into Washington big man Thomas Bryant, who is also a restricted free agent.

With the potential departure of Al Horford, Bryant could give a similar type of game to the veteran as he is strong in the paint and can step out and hit a 3-pointer from time to time and gives value at the free throw line as well.

The Celtics go into the free agency period with a lot of questions as Irving and Horford will be free agents and Rozier will be a restricted free agent. The team already traded Aron Baynes and may go into next season with a very young team led by Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown.
