Guess where Caris LeVert went to school. Yep, Ohio State.

Just kidding. LeVert is the seventh Michigan draft pick since 2011 and fifth in the first round since 2013. Michigan. He went to Michigan. Isn't that shocking?

Brooklyn took LeVert, a 6-7 shooting guard who played four seasons with the Wolverines, with the 20th pick in the NBA Draft. Plenty of people say he'd have been a lottery pick if he didn't have a history of foot injuries — but he does, so he slid . It's a good risk for the Nets, who probably won't have a first-round pick until 2045.

"That's the way it's going to be sometimes," coach John Beilein told MLive.com . "I choose to think that this is going to be one of the best stories ever told when he has a great NBA career and it all works out and he has his degree."

He's also related to Gerald LeVert . Between that, the talent and the suit ... good move, Brooklyn.
