To say Byron Scott isn’t happy with his team’s effort would be a big understatement.
The Lakers coach says his team needs to “man up” after losing 120-101 to the Suns on Monday night.
Byron Scott: “Our guys gave an effort, but I thought their effort was 10 times better." How do you fix that? "It’s all about manning up."

The blowout loss came one night after the Lakers beat the Pistons 97-85 to claim their first home win this season.
Kobe Bryant was not a part of the loss due to injury. He told reporters his back and legs were “killing” him after playing 36 minutes against Detroit on Sunday.
Bryant aside, Scott isn’t buying the fatigue excuse for his younger players.
"That's, to me, a bunch of crap," he said, via the Los Angeles Times. "It's basketball. You come ready to play."
