Pau Gasol: Jimmy Butler’s beef with Fred Hoiberg should stay ‘indoors’ image

The Bulls have lost three straight games and don’t look like a team ready to challenge the Cavaliers in the Eastern Conference. And to make matters worse, there’s drama in the locker room.

After Saturday’s loss to the Knicks, Jimmy Butler was critical of coach Fred Hoiberg and his “laid-back” style, saying the team needs “to be coached a lot harder at times.”

On Monday, following a loss to the Nets, frustrated veteran Pau Gasol chimed in on Butler's comments.

"Whether that's true or not, it's something you talk about indoors," Gasol told reporters.

There’s clearly some trouble in the Windy City. But at least the Bulls (15-11) have three off days to lick their wounds before playing the Thunder on Christmas Day. And if a turnaround doesn’t happen soon, Gasol isn’t sure it will happen at all.

"We all have to take responsibility,” he said (via ESPN.com). “We all have to take it personally. This has to hurt. If it doesn't hurt, then we have a problem that might not be correctable.”
