There’s nothing a little homecooking can’t fix. Well that or Kawhi Leonard.
Facing an 0-2 Eastern Conference finals deficit, the Raptors channeled the energy of a loud crowd and 36 points from Kawhi Leonard, defeating Milwaukee 118-112 in double overtime Sunday night in Game 3. The good news is that Toronto won, but the bad news is Leonard may be injured, possibly stemming from rolling his ankle in the first quarter.

Possible ankle injury and all, Leonard dominated the second overtime period with eight points to give the Raptors their first win of the series.
Leonard received a little more help than usual from his teammates: Pascal Siakam and Norman Powell each had their best game of the series as the pair combined for 44 points and Marc Gasol finally showed signs of life after hitting just a combined three shots in the first two games of the series. Two early 3s from the big man injected life into the Raptors. He finished with four from beyond the arc.

While the role-player scoring was a warm welcome for Toronto, the wall of defense around Giannis Antetokounmpo was the difference from the first two games. Antetokounmpo took just six points into the half and was held scoreless in the third. He finished with 12 points on just 5-of-16 shooting and even air-balled a free throw in the fourth. Antetokounmpo fouled out in the second overtime.
The Raptors are now tasked with needing to beat Milwaukee three times in the next four games. The Bucks lost consecutive games just once this season. It may be a tall order depending on the severity of Leonard’s injury.
