The first game of the NBA In-Season Tournament's semifinal round will feature a perennial Eastern Conference contender and a young upstart looking to make noise early in the season.
After crushing the Knicks in the quarterfinals, the Bucks will meet the Pacers in Las Vegas on Thursday night. Milwaukee was electric on the offensive end in its most recent outing, scoring 146 points and shooting 60.4 percent from the field against New York. Giannis Antetokounmpo unsurprisingly led the way with 35 points, 10 assists, eight rebounds and three steals.
The Pacers also had no trouble racking up points in the quarterfinals, handing the Celtics a 122-112 loss behind a stellar performance from Tyrese Haliburton. The All-Star guard had 26 points, 13 assists and 10 rebounds and shut the door on Boston down the stretch.
