One Milwaukee radio station is taking zero chances with the so-called "Drake Curse" in the Bucks' Eastern Conference finals matchup against the Raptors.
Milwaukee, Wis., radio station 103.7 KISS FM announced Tuesday morning that it would "Break from Drake" for the duration of the Bucks' series with the Raptors, meaning it wouldn't play any songs from the Toronto-based rapper, who is a noted Raptors fan. On Wednesday, the Bucks overcame a 59-51 halftime deficit to take Game 1 at home, 108-100.
MAJOR ANNOUNCEMENT: Until the @Bucks beat the @Raptors - we are hereby taking a break from ALL #DRAKE music. We love us some Drake, but right now - we love the #Bucks more! #BreakFromDrake #FearTheDeer pic.twitter.com/kRAZQnGOWo

So no "Hotline Bling," "In My Feelings," or "God's Plan" — but there's no mention of whether the radio station will play songs that feature Drake, like Meek Mill's "Going Bad" or Summer Walker's collaborative "Girls Need Love."
Honestly, can you blame the station for playing it safe? While it wasn't listed as a reason per se, Drake has a well-documented history of cursing his favored sports teams, and it seems 103.7 thought it best to just not associate with him at all during this series.
And if you don't think he's aware of the curse, then just peep what Drake wore for Game 7 of the Raptors' series against the 76ers:
.@Drake was wearing @sixers shorts! Guess he does believe in the #DrakeCurse 😂😂😂

That's right. Drake reverse-cursed the 76ers. And considering how Kawhi Leonard's game-winning buzzer-beater went in, we're inclined to believe he pulled it off to perfection.

That's not all, either. Check out just a few of the times Drake has associated with pro and collegiate teams, only to watch them lose:
There have been numerous soccer players and clubs.

Then there's the Kentucky Wildcats men's basketball team. John Calipari's squad lost to UConn, 60-54, in the national championship game the day this picture was taken.

A recent addition to his list of cursed teams was college football's Alabama Crimson Tide, who were demolished by Clemson 44-16 in the College Football Playoff championship, prompting a former Tide player-turned-MMA fighter to say he'll "fight him on sight."

Speaking of MMA, Drake also stanned for UFC fighter Conor McGregor ahead of his fight with Khabib Nurmagomedov. We all remember how that went down ...
So, in the face of that overwhelming evidence, KISS FM's decision to "Break from Drake" seems fairly reasonable.
