Marcus Morris' game-winner completes wild ending to Celts' rally past Thunder image

A Marcus Morris game-winner, a Kevin Garnett prediction and a one-of-its-kind rally punctuated a wild finish to Tuesday's Thunder-Celtics game in Boston.

Morris splashed a 3-pointer with 1.2 seconds remaining in regulation to help give Boston an improbable 100-99 win after it trailed by six points with 24.7 seconds to play.

Adding to bizarreness, OKC's Carmelo Anthony had a chance to put the game on ice with 8.4 seconds to go, but he missed two free throws. That gave the Celtics life, and former Celtics star Kevin Garnett a chance to call Morris' shot — sort of.

Afterward, Morris showed the kind of confidence you'd want from the guy who just knocked down the game-winner.

It was a good win for the Eastern Conference's No. 2 seed (48-23), which was playing without point guard Kyrie Irving (knee), and a brutal loss for the Thunder (43-30), who are trying to keep up with the rest of the playoff-hungry teams in the West.
