A punch will cost Blake Griffin at least a month away from court. It also has his bosses ready to launch an investigation.
The Clippers forward will miss four to six weeks after suffering "a spiral fracture on the fourth metacarpal in his right hand while throwing a punch," the team announced Tuesday.

According to numerous reports, Griffin suffered the injury after hitting team equipment manager Matias Testi on Saturday in an altercation that began inside a Toronto restaurant. The team did not directly address the circumstances of the injury but indicated Griffin will face disciplinary action down the road.
“This conduct has no place in our organization and this incident does not represent who we are as a team,” the team said in a statement. “We are conducting a full investigation with assistance from the NBA. At the conclusion of the investigation, appropriate action will be taken.”
Was Doc Rivers satisfied with Blake Griffin's story? "I’m not satisfied with anything. I’m talking about a non-basketball issue right now.”
