Beyonce and her husband, Jay-Z, attended Game 3 of the NBA Finals between the Warriors and Raptors, and a video of the singer made its way on social media, sparking up some drama.
Beyonce and Jay-Z were seated next to Warriors owner Joe Lacob and his wife, Nicole Curran. At one point, Curran leaned over to talk to Jay-Z, and video of the interaction made some people speculate about Beyonce's behavior.

It's not clear if Beyonce actually had a problem with Curran, but the narrative had already been made at this point.
After people found out who the woman was, they immediately went to her Instagram page and started leaving thousands of bee emojis in the comments section (Beyhive, beehive). It got so bad that Curran eventually disabled comments on her photos.
After receiving what was likely tens of thousands of new comments, Curran made a new Instagram post saying, "We should all help and support each other." The post is no longer visible as Curran deleted her Instagram account following the harassment. (She first disabled comments, then made her account private.)
According to ESPN's Ramona Shelburne, Curran received death threats as part of the messages. She also explained why she was talking with Jay-Z, and said she's invited the celebrity couple to several games in the past.
Just spoke to Nicole Curran, the wife of Warriors owner Joe Lacob, about the “incident “ with Beyoncé last night. She was in tears. Said she had been getting death threats on social media all night this morning she disabled her IG account just to make it stop.

Curran said she had no idea anything was even amiss until she got home and started seeing texts from friends and checked her social media. She’s invited Jay Z and Beyoncé to the game 3-4 times before. Last night she says she asked if they wanted drinks. Beyoncé asked for water

Curran says Jay Z asked for a vodka soda. She asked if he wanted lime with that. But it was loud in Oracle and she couldn’t hear, so she leaned over. That’s where the photos of Beyoncé looking askance at her come from.

Curran says she then went to go get them those drinks. “There was no hostility. I was trying to be a good hostess,” she said. “I’ve never experienced cyber bullying like this. I can’t believe our players go through this. That kids go through this.“

Considering Curran is the one who invited both of them, it seems highly unlikely Beyonce actually had a problem with her speaking to her husband.
