Our third installment of the Wednesday night Prop-A-Shot series is in the books! And what a wild night this 12-game slate turned out to be. We had one overtime game out west, one double-overtime game that concluded at 1:15 a.m., and a handful of epic performances.
If you're checking in to see how our live blog went this evening, welcome! We entered the night 20-14 on Prop-A-Shot bets and 29-19 with NBA best bets since Christmas. But as always, we stay hungry when it comes to winning props, moneylines, spreads, and over/unders.
The concept for Prop-A-Shot is simple: Every Wednesday, we unveil our favorite player and game props as well as some traditional bets for the upcoming evening's games. We then live blog from the first tip of the night until the final whistle of the last late game, dishing out live betting advice, catching you up on developing storylines, and keeping a tally of how our bets perform.

Updates, live betting advice from the 10 p.m. games
1:13 a.m.: At long last, the final game is in the books. The Kings outlast the Magic in double-overtime 138-135. The Magic get 43 from Paolo Banchero, 24 from Suggs, and a franchise-record 25 three-pointers on 44 attempts. Malik Monk finishes with 37 points and nine assists, though, while Keegan Murray adds 31 points and 11 boards. Domantas Sabonis posts an insane 22 points, 23 rebounds, and 12 assists.
12:55 a.m.: Paolo Banchero loses the ball out of bounds, but the refs inexplicably reverse the call and say it was touched by the Kings. Orlando inbounds to Paolo under the hoop and he immediately ties the game. Double OT. C'mon, man.
12:45 a.m.: Action-packed OT — seesaw battle — Paolo Banchero and Malik Monk are trading blows like heavyweight fighters. Monk just hit the go-ahead layup to make it 124-123 with 33.7 left.
12:31 a.m.: The Kings and Magic provide us with our second overtime of the night, because the basketball gods know I'm sick and need sleep. Let's go! Paolo Banchero hit a huge three late but the resilient Kings tied it back up. Let's light that beam, Sac-town.
12:23 a.m.: Well. the Lakers got rolled. They're down 16 and the Crypto cult are slowly making their way toward the exits. At least we have a three-point lead in Sacramento with 1:20 left.
12:08 a.m.: Surge time for our squads. LeBron just hit AD on a big alley-oop dunk for an and-one, trimming the Heat's lead over the Lakers to six with seven minutes and change left. Meanwhile, Malik Monk just took a hard foul from rookie Anthony Black and it looks like it's going to be a flagrant. Momentum time. L.A. and Sac-town both need to take better care of the damn ball, though.
12:00 a.m.: Man, what is happening with the Kings? Franz Wagner, Paolo Banchero, and Gary Harris have all suffered injuries in this game (Banchero was able to come back onto the floor), and yet Orlando has battled back to take a seven-point lead over Sacramento. I would normally say I'm bullish on the home squad, but BetMGM currently pulled the live odds for this freaky-deeky game. The way the Magic are shooting, they might have sold their souls. They're 19-of-29 from long range.
10:56 p.m.: A little over halfway through the second quarter, the Heat have an eight-point lead on the Lakers. We just locked in a bet on L.A. +2.5 (-125) as we simply don't see LeBron and AD dropping this one at home against Jimmy Butler.
10:37 p.m.: Orlando somehow just hit five treys in the first quarter and the Magic lead Sacramento 30-27. The Kings also had multiple unforced turnovers, but we still saw seven lead changes throughout the frame. We're live-betting Sac-town -3.5 (-125) because the Magic can't sustain this level of efficiency from outside, nor can they do much of anything from down low on either side of the floor. Plus, we all know about De'Aaron Fox's clutch gene.

11:54 p.m.: At long last, the Jazz have cemented the win 154-148. Absolutely crazy W. Hopefully none of you bet the UNDER in this one. The 154 ties Utah's franchise record for most points in a game.
11:30 p.m.: Whoa! The Jazz and Pistons just exchanged three-pointers on the final four possessions of regulation, and we're heading for overtime! First Jordan Clarkson nailed a huge walk-up triple with momentum, then Bojan Bogdanovic answered, then Lauri Markkanen hit one, and finally Alec Burks hit a last-second prayer. Absolutely wild stretch. We're not hedging, though — even though former Jazz-men Bojie and AB have a combined 60 points — we're sticking with our Jazz -1.5 pick!
11:25 p.m.: Jordan Clarkson with the flame-throwing triple with 30.8 seconds remaining, pushing the Jazz up by three. Utah is on a 9-2 run over the past three minutes, and Clarkson has 31 points. Good thing we hopped on Utah -1.5!
10:48 p.m.: Oddly enough, the Jazz-Pistons game has been one of the more entertaining games from the mountain west slate. Utah leads 100-99 with 2:30 to go and we would be all over the Jazz -1.5 (-110). You might have heard how sloppy Detroit gets — let's not go crazy and back the shaggiest 'dog of the 21st century in high altitude on the road.
10:20 p.m.: We love it when we're right. We put you on the Knicks -1.5 at halftime, and at the beginning of the fourth quarter New York has an 86-78 lead. Tom Thibodeau's squad played better defense, turned the ball over once as opposed to 13 times in the first half, and the Knicks won the quarter 35-23.
9:38 p.m.: The Clippers just raced out to a 35-20 lead over the Suns in the first quarter. We see some value in Phoenix +11.5 right now if you want to live a little dangerously. Los Angeles has been pretty nasty at home since James Harden figured out his role on Ty Lue's squad, but we still don't like the Suns to just get boat-raced like so many other teams this evening.
9:31 p.m.: The Knicks are down 54-47 to the Bulls with under two minutes left in the first half. New York has somehow turned the ball over 13 times, so all things considered it's pretty incredible it's a single-digit ballgame. You can get plus odds (+105) on the Knicks at -1.5 right now. Jump on it.
9:29 p.m.: The Pelicans are crushing the Wolves 74-58. Clearly NOLA has too much physicality for the soft dogs from the north. Hope you tailed us on the Pels +6.5 earlier (or +5.5 at game time)!
9:24 p.m.: One minute into the third quarter, the Raptors have blown the game open over the Grizzlies 68-50. This game was 37-37 midway through the second quarter! That's a 31-13 swing — Memphis seems broken.
9:00 p.m.: We knew it. With 2:00 left in the first half, Toronto has broken the game open with a 58-46 lead over Memphis. The Grizzlies have turned into frauds! The Raptors are working harder down low, dictating the pace, and rendering everyone not named Ja Morant and Desmond Bane effectively useless.
8:45 p.m.: Luka is already dancing against the Blazers, and Dallas leads 13-5 early. You could have set his scoring total at 40 tonight and plenty of bettors would bite. He had 30 points in the first half the last time these teams met. With Kyrie back and the Blazers offense (not defense) playing well, this game has a distinct opportunity to go OVER its current total of 236.5 (-110).
8:20 p.m.: Zion Williamson has drawn fouls from Rudy Gobert, Karl-Anthony Towns, and Jaden McDaniels in the first five minutes of the Pelicans-Wolves game and it's 16-10 Pels. We're so happy we got NOLA +6.5 earlier. It's down to +3 now.
Updates, live betting advice from the 7:00 p.m. games
10:10 p.m.: WOW! What did we tell you in the previous post!? OKC almost came all the way back to tie the game but Isaiah Joe missed the last-second three-pointer that would have forced overtime. Hawks survive 141-138. Show me the money!
9:40 p.m.: There hasn't been much worth updating in these early games, but with Atlanta up 128-117 over the Thunder and 7:00 remaining, we see some value in OKC +10.5 (-105). A part of us does say that SGA and his squad just don't look right out there — unforced errors, too many fouls, rebounding issues, etc — but we know OKC can work its way back in the game off sheer hustle and talent.
8:30 p.m.: Four minutes into the second half, the Pacers have stormed out to an eight-point lead over the Bucks. WHOA. Damian Lillard and Malik Beasley are getting eaten alive by Bruce Brown and Tyrese Haliburton. We're starting to worry about Milwaukee's ability to get this W. Indy seems like Giannis Kryptonite.
8:15 p.m.: At halftime in Indiana, the Bucks are up 68-66. Giannis has 10-6-4, so he's creeping up slowly but surely. Watch him finish with 33-14-6 or something absurd. Give the Pacers credit — they shot 5-of-16 from three-point land and stayed right with Milwaukee all half. The Bucks have taken such a massive step down defensively, and Brook Lopez hates every second of it.
8:10 p.m.: The Hawks just put 39 points on the Thunder in the first quarter. They lead OKC 39-25. Plenty of value in the Thunder +9.5 here — this is a 23-9 Thunder team against a 13-19 ATL team.
7:55 p.m.: We've seen 11 lead changes and three ties in the Bucks-Pacers game, and the Bucks are up 50-49 with 5:00 left in the first half. Giannis has somehow only scored five points. If Milwaukee stops joshing around, they should completely take over this game.
7:34 p.m.: Somehow Giannis Antetokounmpo only took ONE SHOT the entire first quarter, and it was with five seconds remaining in the quarter. Thank goodness we advocated for his rebounding OVER and mentioned that we were only lukewarm on his massive points OVER. That's about as lackluster a frame as Giannis will ever have: 2-2-1. Pacers up 33-31. If you haven't hammered the Bucks to win by now, do so. They're at -145 on the moneyline and -2.5 ATS.
7:20 p.m.: The Cavaliers have hit six of their first seven three-point attempts, and yet they're down 23-22. This game has already crept up to 251.5 total points, which lends fantastic value to the UNDER. Cleveland isn't capable of maintaining this level of three-point shooting, and Washington isn't capable of staying with Cleveland offensively. Smash the UNDER.
7:15 p.m: The Pacers have gotten out to a great start, shooting 6-of-7 from the field to go up 13-8. The Bucks will pick it up defensively, though, so now is a good time to get in on Milwaukee's -125 live moneyline. Even as I'm done writing this update, the Bucks have tied the game 13-13.
