Although Game 1 between the top-seeded Nuggets and eighth-seeded Timberwolves was over by halftime, tonight's Game 2 showdown is likely more competitive, playing into SuperDraft players' hands. Despite the betting market pegging the eighth-seeded Timberwolves as 8.5-point road underdogs, one has to think Chris Finch's crew puts together a better effort than they did on Sunday, leading to both team's typical rotational players playing their normal allotment of minutes.
With that in mind, we've selected four player props we think could potentially lead to a 10x payday via SuperDraft's player props parlay game mode. On SuperDraft, if you combine two props, users can win up to 3X the amount they wagered, and it increases each time you add another prop. Think of it as a "Same Game Parlay" -- the more legs you add, the more risk -- and potential payout -- you open yourself up to.
Can Rudy Gobert hold his own on the glass against a strong Denver frontcourt? Will Kentavious Caldwell-Pope score in double-figures? Below, we'll break down four of our favorite player props available on SuperDraft for Wednesday's Western Conference playoff matchup.
Best NBA prop bets today: SuperDraft player prop picks for Nuggets-Timberwolves Game 2
* Entry - Four picks (10X)*
1. Aaron Gordon, PF, Nuggets - OVER 6 rebounds
Gordon only grabbed five rebounds in Denver's Game 1 rout, but he played just 23 minutes because of the lopsided score. Given tonight's contest remains a bit more competitive down the stretch, Gordon looks to be in a solid position to bring down seven-plus boards. Per NBA's tracking stats, Gordon averages 6.5 defensive rebound chances and 4.7 offensive rebound chances on 30.3 minutes per game, so the opportunity is clearly there for him.
2. Kentavious Caldwell-Pope SG, Nuggets - OVER 9.5 points
We think Caldwell-Pope has a chance to replicate his Game 1 scoring output (15 points, six-of-11 FG) given the Timberwolves defense might force him to consistently beat him by double-teaming Jokic and Murray when the possession dictates it. KCP made the open shots in Game 1, and another double-digit field goal attempt night could lead to the veteran guard scoring 10-plus points.
3. Mike Conley, PG, Timberwolves - UNDER 13.5 points
Conley was effective as a scorer in two Play-In games, averaging 18.5 points per game, but was much more passive in Game 1, attempting just five field goal attempts and scoring eight points. He might be in for another underwhelming offensive showing with Towns and Edwards shouldering the scoring load, resulting in a second consecutive sub-14-point scoring output.
4. Rudy Gobert, C, Timberwolves - OVER 11.5 rebounds
Gobert's rebounding prop is correctly priced, but we still think he's capable of hauling in 12-plus boards tonight as the team's primary interior presence. Like Gordon, Gobert played only 26 minutes in Game 1 with Minnesota trailing by 29 entering the fourth but still grabbed 13 rebounds in limited action. The Timberwolves might not make tonight a possession-type game down the stretch as 8.5-point underdogs, but it's unlikely they find themselves trailing by 29 through three quarters. Gobert likely logs 30-plus minutes of action, and since he sees 13.3 defensive rebounding opportunities and 7.4 offensive rebounding opportunities per game, we like our chances of the big man hitting his OVER here.
