Best NBA prop bets today: SuperDraft player prop picks for Game 5 of Suns-Nuggets image

The fourth-seeded Suns will travel to the Mile High City tonight to play the first-seeded Nuggets in Game 5 of the Western Conference semifinals (10 p.m. ET, TNT). Phoenix tied up the series at 2-2 after taking down Denver 129-124 in Game 4 on Sunday night. Devin Booker and Kevin Durant were the stars, with 36 points apiece. Booker (12 assists) and Durant (11 rebounds) also found different ways to impact the game, which played a significant role in the Suns protecting their home court. The only other Suns player to score in double figures was Landry Shamet, who outscored the Nuggets' bench by himself.

Speaking of the Nuggets, they received an MVP-type performance from Nikola Jokic, who had 53 points, 11 rebounds, and four assists. Jamal Murray also produced 28 points (13-25 FG, 1-3 3pt), seven assists, and five rebounds. The Jokic/Murray duo will try to outduel Booker and Durant tonight as the Nuggets look to push the Suns to the brink of elimination.

If basketball fans want to bet on Booker, Durant, Jokic, and Murray props, they can do so on SuperDraft. On SuperDraft, bettors can pick an over/under on two or more player props. If you hit both, you win up to 3X the amount wagered, and the return increases each time you add another prop. Think of it as a "Same Game Parlay." More legs equal more risk, but also a bigger potential payout.  However, not all players have the same props, so keep that in mind as you pick your over/under plays and try to win some cash during tonight's game.

SuperDraft Player Prop Picks for Suns-Nuggets Game 5

Kevin Durant, SF, Suns - OVER 8.5 rebounds

Bettors might be tempted to take Durant's points prop (32) after his scoring outbursts in Games 3 (39 points) and 4 (36 points). However, we will zig while everybody else zags and take Durant's rebounding prop. The superstar forward is averaging 8.9 rebounds per game and has gone OVER 8.5 rebounds in five out of his past nine playoff games.

The Suns will be looking for Durant to be one of their top scorers tonight, but they need him to be a factor on the boards, especially if Deandre Ayton isn't getting it done early. In the first two games in Denver, KD had 14 boards (Game 1) and eight rebounds (Game 2).

Jamal Murray, PG, Nuggets - OVER 26 points

Without Chris Paul on the floor, the Suns do not have anyone that can defend the Nuggets star point guard. Murray barely went over his Game 5 points prop in Game 4, dropping 28 points on 13-of-25 shooting from the field and 1-of-3 from three-point range.

He's struggled to shoot from beyond the arc in this series against the Suns (28.6 percent), a stark difference from the first round against the Timberwolves (42.9 percent). The good news for bettors is that Murray doesn't depend a ton on the three-point shot, as he can knock down shots in the mid-range and attack the basket. The dynamic point guard has gone OVER 26 points in five out of his past nine playoff games, including three out of his past four.

Deandre Ayton, C, Suns - OVER 12.5 points

Ayton got outplayed in the past two games, but thankfully the Suns were able to win. However, if they want to take Game 5 tonight and ultimately win the series, Phoenix needs more from the 24-year-old center. Ayton is scoring 13.3 points per game in the postseason and has gone OVER 12.5 points in six out of nine games.

The former Arizona standout played well in Games 1 and 2, dropping 14 points apiece, but in the past two games, he's only posted 12 total points. We know he has his hands full with Jokic on defense, but there isn't a reason why Ayton can't get his on the offensive end against a so-so defender.

Aaron Gordon, PF, Nuggets - UNDER 14.5 points

Our final fantasy prop for Game 5 will be Gordon UNDER 14.5 points. The 27-year-old power forward had two consecutive underwhelming outings in Games 3 and 4, scoring nine and 11 points. He started this series on fire, scoring 19.5 points per game through Games 1 and 2. Gordon is averaging 14 points per game on 50 percent shooting from the field and 37.5 percent from beyond the arc in the playoffs.

Furthermore, Gordon has gone UNDER 14.5 points in seven out of his past nine games, which includes three games with at least 14 points. We might be sweating this points prop until the end, but we feel confident in taking the UNDER, as Gordon will be focused on slowing down Durant.
