We have a fun-filled 10-game slate in the Association on Friday night that begins at 7 p.m. ET between the Hawks-Hornets and wraps up with the Nuggets-Lakers at 10 p.m. ET on ESPN. There are a ton of appealing matchups throughout the night that will provide numerous betting opportunities for basketball fans and bettors.
Below we’ll break down why we like a plus-money player prop in the Nets-Raptors game, along with a couple of other notable player prop bets in the Pacers-Cavaliers and Hawks-Hornets games.
Best NBA prop bets: Advice, picks for Friday night

AJ Griffin over 1.5 three-pointers made vs. Hornets (-125). For our first best bet, we will attack Griffin's three-point prop, which is sitting at a favorable 1.5. When it comes to three-point player props, we like to find the plus-money plays to bring back more ROI. However, the rookie wing player has a good matchup against the Hornets' defense, which has struggled to defend the three this season. Charlotte is currently ranked 14th in opponent three-point percentage (35.2), but that number has ballooned to 43.6 percent over the past three games.
Griffin is only averaging 10.3 points per game this season but shooting 34.7 percent from beyond the arc on 4.7 attempts per game. The former Duke standout has gone over 1.5 three-pointers made in three out of his past five games and seven out of his last 10. In the Hawks' first meeting against the Hornets back in October, Griffin scored eight points on 2-of-3 shooting from three-point range in six minutes. At -125 odds, it's not a bad play since Griffin has been a starter for the past seven games.
Evan Mobley over 15.5 points vs. Pacers (-110). This is probably one of my favorite plays tonight, as the second-year forward has played outstanding this season for the Cavs. Mobley is close to averaging a double-double this season with 15.1 points and 9.7 rebounds per game. The former USC standout has gone over 15.5 points in three of his past five games and seven out of his last 10. Mobley is producing 16.1 points per game on 58.7 percent shooting from the field over that 10-game stretch.
The 21-year-old will look to continue his dominant play in tonight's contest against the Pacers. Indiana has been playing good basketball themselves this season, making this a good game. However, the Pacers have had their struggles against power forwards, allowing 22.8 points per game this season. This is an excellent spot to play Mobley, who had two 20-point performances against Indiana last season.
Kevin Durant over 6.5 rebounds vs. Raptors (+100). If you are looking for another plus-money prop, look no further than Durant's rebounding prop. The superstar forward has had to do it all for the Nets this season, averaging 30 points, 6.7 rebounds, and 5.5 assists per game. Durant is second in rebounding on the Nets behind Nic Claxton (8.7 boards per game).
The multiple-time All-Star and future Hall of Famer has gone 6.5 rebounds in four out of his past five games and is averaging 7.6 rebounds per game over that span. If you look at a 10-game stretch, Durant has gone over 6.5 rebounds in seven games. Two of those games were against the Raptors, where he had seven and nine rebounds a piece. The only time Durant didn't go over this number against Toronto was on Oct. 21, when he had five rebounds. Toronto has not done a great job stopping power forwards from getting rebounds, as they are averaging 11.7 rebounds per game this season.
