Donovan Mitchell points (Cavaliers at Wizards) — OVER 26.5 (-110)
Mitchell has been sizzling as of late, one of the main reasons the Cavs have skyrocketed up the standings to second place in the East. The All-Star guard has averaged 32.5 points per game over Cleveland's past four contests and he has exceeded this total in five of the past six.
Spida's strong streak should only continue this evening, as the Wizards have been one of the worst perimeter defenses all season long and many believe Washington will once again be selling by tomorrow's 3:00 p.m. ET trade deadline. Morale ain't good in the nation's capital, and the defense is even worse. Fire Mitchell up as he continues to make his case as a dark-horse MVP candidate.
Victor Wembanyama blocks (Spurs at Heat) — OVER 2.5 (-115)
Wemby has 13 blocks over San Antonio's past four games, and the rookie phenom has exceeded two rejections in 24 of his 44 games as a pro. Miami gets swatted a hair under five times per game, so we love our chances of the odds-on Rookie of the Year favorite hitting this OVER by the final whistle.
Kawhi Leonard points + assists + rebounds (Clippers vs. Pelicans) — OVER 37.5 (-125)
Kawhi has rocketed up the MVP odds over the past week, as people have started to catch on to the fact that (a) the Clippers have been playing incredible basketball for months and (b) Leonard has been the main catalyst. He's doing everything extremely well, playing big minutes, and even logging back-to-backs.
The two-time Finals MVP seems locked in at just about every level, which should scare the crap out of the rest of the West. Over the Clippers' past five games, Kawhi has averaged 41.6 points + assists + rebounds per game. Nobody on the Pelicans can guard this dude when he's firing on ally cylinders, so expect the good times to continue rolling for Leonard and the Clips tonight.
