The 10th annual edition of The Basketball Tournament (TBT) began with 64 teams vying for a grand prize of $1 million. Now, only four teams remain.

In 2023, seven cities served as the site for eight regional tournaments before the Final Four and championship game, which will be played in Philadelphia.

As the Final Four gets underway, Team Heartfire will face Herd That (Marshall alumni) for an opportunity to face the winner of the other semifinal played between Friday Beers and Bleed Green (North Texas alumni).

How to watch The Basketball Tournament

  • Dates: July 19 through Aug. 3
  • TV channel: ESPN family of networks
  • Live streaming: ESPN+ | ESPN app | fuboTV | Sling TV

The Basketball Tournament will air on the ESPN family of networks, with games being played on ESPN, ESPN2, ESPNU and ESPN+. Viewers in the United States can also stream The Basketball Tournament on the ESPN app, fuboTV or Sling TV.

The Basketball Tournament schedule 2023

TBT's schedule is staggered with the first set of games being played in Lubbock, Cincinnati and Wichita, which is the site of two regional tournaments. As play continues, games will begin in Syracuse, N.Y., Morgantown, W. Va., Louisville, Ky. and Dayton, Ohio.

The Final Four begins in Philadelphia on Aug. 2.

Through the first nine years of TBT, six different teams have been crowned champions. There has been no multi-time winner outside of Overseas Elite, which last competed in TBT 2020.
