Knicks' Arron Afflalo might miss two weeks with injury image

Arron Afflalo, arguably Knicks' biggest offseason acquisition, might be sidelined longer than initially hoped.

While the team is listing the guard as "day-to-day" as he recovers from a left hamstring strain, the New York Daily News reports Afflalo told the media Sunday he might be out two weeks.

The Knicks open their NBA season Wednesday against the Bucks. Afflalo signed a two-year, $16 million deal in the offseason but has been dogged by hamstring problems throughout the preseason.

He aggravated the injury Thursday against the Celtics. New York opens the season against Milwaukee on Wednesday.
