Anthony Edwards has made it clear that he's a multi-sport athlete.
The NBA star earned a spot on the U.S. men's basketball Olympic team, but he's also interested in becoming the first NBA player to play in the NFL.
That's not all. Edwards has claimed he can excel in just about any sport. Whether it's table tennis, baseball or hockey, the shooting guard is confident he'd be one of the top players in the sport.
These claims aren't new by any means, but Edwards has revisited his love for table tennis at the 2024 Paris Olympics. The U.S. women's table tennis team challenged Edwards to a match, and Edwards has since been cheering on the squad.
The friendly hasn't occurred yet, but it'll be on people's radars if Edwards keeps appearing at table tennis matches.
Here's all you need to know about Edwards' connection with the U.S. table tennis team.

Lily Zhang, U.S. table tennis challenge Anthony Edwards
Lily Zhang and the United States women's table tennis team challenged Edwards to a match early during the Olympics. Edwards mentioned he plays the sport, but of course not at the Olympic level.
The U.S. team said they could beat Edwards 21-0 in a friendly match, but Edwards believes he can get at least one point.
Edwards was in the middle of an interview when Stephen Curry brought over the women's table tennis team for the challenge.
"I got some people talking about they'd beat me in ping pong 21-0," Edwards said. "I don't believe it. I don't believe it. ... I'm scoring one point."
One of the women's players said, "I mean, there's only one way to try it out."
The friendly match hasn't occurred yet. There's no timetable for the game to happen, though Edwards was seen practicing his game.

The game may never happen, but it's been a fun back-and-forth between Edwards and the table tennis players.

There isn't sound in the video, but it's clear that Edwards is cheering on Zhang as she earned a point. He's one of a few people standing in the clip.
It's unclear if any other NBA players tagged along as the video doesn't show anyone else in the few seconds.
Who is Lily Zhang?
Zhang is a four-time Olympian for the United States women's table tennis team. She debuted in the 2012 London Olympics and has competed in each of the Summer Games since.
She made her first national team at 12 years old. Now at 28, she is heading to the Round of 16 for the first time. She peaked in the Round of 32 in previous Olympics, so she's already set her personal best.
Zhang is the United States' top player and best chance to win a medal in Paris. The U.S. has never medaled in the sport since it began in 1988.
