Pelicans' Anthony Davis hurts back diving into stands for loose ball image

The Pelicans suffered another loss Friday night. They're hoping they also haven't lost their franchise player for an extended period. 

All-Star forward Anthony Davis left the game with a lower back bruise after he went diving into the stands for a loose ball early in the first quarter against the Pacers.

He briefly attempted to play after getting off the floor, but he was later taken to the locker room. He did not return. 

The Pelicans lost 91-86, dropping to 11-24 for the season.
