It's not uncommon for athletes to make changes to their diets and workouts leading up to a new season.
Andre Drummond is preparing for his eighth season with the Pistons and making some lifestyle changes by cutting red meat out of his diet.

By eliminating red meat, he needed to find an alternative to guarantee he reaches the necessary caloric intake. The solution? Beer.
The 6-11 center told the Detroit Free Press that his chef has started buying him Miller Lite and Corona.
"If you do it the right way, it’s actually not bad for you and that’s why I’m doing it," Drummond said.

The two-time All-Star and reigning rebound leader is coming off his best season, averaging 17.3 points and 15.6 rebounds in 79 games.
Maybe this new diet will lead Drummond to another career season.
