The Denver Nuggets will host the Philadelphia 76ers this Saturday for an MVP vs. MVP showdown on ABC.

Joel Embiid is undoubtedly putting on another MVP campaign this season. On Monday, Embiid dropped 70 points on the Spurs, making him the ninth player in NBA history to score 70-plus points.

Embiid is averaging an unbelievable 36.1 points, 11.9 rebounds and 5.6 assists per game. He's been the best center in the league this season. His opponent in this game is right behind him, however.

Nikola Jokic hasn't posted a 70-point game this season, but he's led the Nuggets to the third-place standing in the Western Conference. He's posting 26.2 points, 12.0 rebounds and 9.1 assists per game.

Alongside him, Jamal Murray is averaging 21.3 points, 4.0 rebounds and 6.5 assists per game. He's been a phenomenal Robin to Jokic's Batman.

The Nuggets are 0.5 games back on the Western Conference-leading Oklahoma City Thunder. Currently, they bring a three-game win streak into their game against the 76ers.

On the flip side, the 76ers are bringing a six-game win streak into Saturday's game. Like the Nuggets, they rank third in the Eastern Conference standings.

The 76ers defeated the Nuggets, 121-116, in their previous matchup on Jan. 16. Can the Nuggets even the season series?
