The countdown is on for the 2022 NBA Draft and the pool of eligible draftees is starting to fill up. Potential No. 1 overall picks Chet Holmgren, Jabari Smith, Paolo Banchero and Jaden Ivey have all already entered their names into the 2022 Draft.
Canadian Shaedon Sharpe shocked everyone by entering the draft pool and hiring an agent. Sharpe committed to Kentucky but didn't play a single game. The 18-year from London, Ontario Canada does however meet the requirements of being a year removed from high school basketball to enter the NBA draft this year. He'll also turn 19 years old on May 30.
Many other players have already declared for the draft – some with an agent, forgoing their remaining eligibility, and others who are just testing the waters and can return back to college next season if they choose.
The 2022 NBA Draft is set for Thursday, June 23, but there are some other key dates coming up for prospects deciding to enter their name in the draft pool.
